The Great American Trucking Show is an interactive and all-encompassing public convention of trucking professionals. More than 500 exhibitors meet at GATS, representing truck, trailer, engine, component and parts manufacturers, among many others. GATS exists to create an interactive, energizing environment entirely focused on trucking’s improvement.
GATS 2017 will be held August 24-26 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.
We will have great content and exhibitors at GATS 2017! For a full list of exhibitors, click here!
No. Whether you are a retired veteran of the industry or just want to come and look at the big trucks, all are welcomed to attend. Please make sure you register online to avoid any admission costs.
If you register for GATS online, it’s free! If you wait to register on-site, it will cost $10.
Yes. If you are using a stroller at GATS, we recommend you attach their badge to it as a safety precaution. In the unlikely event that you and your child are separated at the show, their badge ID will contain your contact information that we can use to help reunite you.
We highly recommend that you register anyone who might come to GATS ahead of time. Registration is free online and you will not be charged if someone cannot attend after registering. If you wait until you’re at GATS to add another member to your party, you will be charged $10 per person.
If you are already registered, you can add someone by going to your GATS Registration Confirmation email and clicking the link that says, “ADD ANOTHER REGISTRATION”. On the following screen, click “Add a Family Member / Colleague”. Continue to fill out the information appropriately until their registration is complete. You will receive an email confirming their registration.
If you have not registered yet, register yourself here and follow the instructions to add other people with your registration.
A confirmation email only goes to the person who signed everyone up. If there are multiple people in your party and only one person used their email address to register everyone, that person will be the only one to receive a confirmation. If you are that person, check your spam, junk, clutter, or promotions email folder. Look for an email from email@example.com with the subject line: The 2017 Great American Trucking Show Registration Confirmation. Still don’t see it? Please call 888-349-4287 and press 1 on the menu to ask to have your email resent.
GATS does not print or mail badges ahead of time, but bring your confirmation email to GATS and you can walk right up to any of our Express Registration stations to print your badge onsite! No need to wait in line!
The City of Dallas operates many parking zones around the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center and most are pay-to-park zones. There is one free parking lot directly in front of the Convention Center, located at 650 S Griffin Street, Dallas, TX 75202. The parking garage that is adjacent to the Convention Center has plenty of space, but is $12 per entry. GATS does not benefit in any way from parking fees.
GATS has provided free parking for trucks and RVs at Fair Park located at 3013 S Haskell Ave, Dallas, TX 75223. TA | Petro has sponsored a Truck Parking Community here that all are welcomed to enjoy. The lot is 5 miles from the Convention Center so GATS has provided free shuttles to and from the TA | Petro Truck Parking Community that will operate during show hours.
GATS has partnered with onPeak to provide discounted rates at local hotels. Click here to see a list of options for your stay.
